Multicriteria Group Decision Making Under Uncertain Linguistic Environment with Application to Personnel Evaluation

This paper presents a new method for solving the multicriteria group decision making problem in uncertain linguistic environment. To ensure an effective aggregation of these uncertain linguistic variables, an uncertain linguistic Choquet integral operator is first proposed, where interactive characteristics among criteria or decision makers' preference are taken into account. Further, the procedure for multicriteria group decision making is given under uncertain linguistic environment. Finally, the group decision making method is applied to a representative personnel evaluation problem.
