Acoustic-induced tunable wavelength in a tilted fiber Bragg grating

摘要
This study has experimentally demonstrated that the induced-wavelength channels in a tilted fiber Bragg grating can be shifted by adjusting the frequency of acoustic wave launched into the fiber. The acoustic-optic modulation can tune the wavelength of the induced channel with a wavelength-tuning rate of approximately I nm/MHz.
