摘要
The present paper describes methods of turkey production in Germany and discusses the influence of different housing factors on the basis of articles and on recommendations for the praxis. Apart from the conventional rearing and fattening of turkeys on littered floor system recently the development of alternative systems increasingly occured. Advantages and dis;advantages of these new developed systems with regard to health and performance of birds, environment and welfare are described.
