摘要
Climate change is the focus of global concern. With global warming as the main feature, global climate change becomes increasingly significant. Global warming will advance the intensity and frequency of extreme climate to an unprecedented level. For the present, geological storage of carbon dioxide is currently the most effective way for carbon emission reduction. In this paper, based on the status of global carbon dioxide geological storage project, the mechanism for geological storage is firstly summarized and introduced. Then, the geological storage reservoir types and its selection principles are focused and extracted. Afterwards, the possible risks and environmental problems during the operational (injection) phase and post-operational phase are classified and discussed. Finally, various monitoring technologies related to the geological storage of carbon dioxide are summarized.
