摘要
Introduction: Among the eating disorders (EDs), there are anorexia nervosa (AN) and bulimia nervosa (BN), which, through blogs and Pro-Ana and Pro-Mia websites present in social networks, are being seen as a lifestyle. life. Objective: To identify, through scientific literature, the influence of Pro-Ana and Pro-Mia websites and blogs on the development and worsening of EDs in adolescents.Materials and methods: This is a cross-sectional bibliographic research study, carried out between August and November 2021. The Google Scholar, VHL and SciELO databases were used to search for articles. As for the inclusion criteria, articles from the last five years were obtained through the DeCS/MeSH in Portuguese and English. The articles found address the Pro-Ana and Pro-Mia blogs. In total, 29 articles were found. As for the exclusion criteria, articles that did not meet the proposed objective were eliminated. Discussion: Through articles and searches for these blogs in Mozilla Firefox, blogs and sites were found that are against and those that are in favor of anorexic and bulimic practices. Results: These blogs and sites proved to have a great influence on the aggravation and triggering of ATs through the tips published on their pages. Conclusion: It was concluded that the blogs Pro-Ana and Pro-Mia contribute to the development and worsening of ATs. Therefore, it is important to emphasize that even if measures are implemented against these blogs and sites, it is essential to have more conduct that helps to combat these anorexic and bulimic practices carried out on their pages.
