摘要
For the correction of Class II malocclusions that are successful in the long term, several treatment options are nowadays available. Factors that have an impact on the selection of the most appropriate option include patient-specific conditions such as compliance, the time available for treatment and the financial framework, but also operator-specific facts influenced by the experience and educational background of the orthodontist. The treatment techniques and clinical protocols demonstrated in the following article shall serve as impetus for readers to expand their own repertoire of treatment options and to start selecting them with a stronger focus on the indication and patient-specific demands.
