摘要
In this article a comprehensive study of coupled-mode equations for general bianisotropic waveguides is given. Rather simple expressions of coupled coefficients that are very useful in the study of propagation features and practical calculations are obtained. Expressions of two different sets of these coefficients are derived and compared with each other. The features of chiral, ferrite, magnetized plasma, and Faraday chiral waveguides are deduced Computations of circular chiral, ferrite, and Faraday chiral waveguides are performed with the abode analysis. and the cutoff phenomena are also discussed.
