Sensorless control for PMSM using an 8bit microcontroller and dc-link current measurement

摘要
The sensorless control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives requires accurate information on rotor angle and angular speed. Additionally in low cost applications the aim is to reduce the number of measurements. These include speed and current sensors. This paper presents a sensorless field-oriented control using an 8bit microcontroller with only measuring the dc-link current. The stator currents can be reconstructed from the dc-link current in dependency of the space vector modulation pulse pattern. Using this method a dynamic and accurate control mode of the drive can be reached.
