摘要
In this paper, massive MIMO measurements are carried out with a Massive MIMO testbed and a multi-antenna mobile terminal. The 8-antennas handset with a dimension of 15cmx7.5cm is used as the mobile station in order to mimic a smartphone. Measurements are successively undergone in a typical indoor scenario. The influence of antenna numbers in the handset on the indoor wireless channel characteristic is analyzed by varying the corresponding measurement configuration and comparing the measured ergodic capacity of the channel. In addition, hand-held scenarios are also performed to characterize the wireless channel with humans. Results highlight that the ergodic capacity of the channel is improved with increasing number of antennas in the handset, and it is slightly degraded by the user's hand-held effect.
