摘要
Investigation of the relationship of the Ottoman Empire and the Political Education of the South Caucasus in the)(VIII century, is of great historical significance of the concrete. This period set the stage for the events of XIX century. The article deals with issues related to the policy of the Ottoman Empire in the South Caucasus, in particular the Jharo-Belokan, in XVIII - beginning of XIX century. Its objectives aimed at weakening Russia's positions in the South Caucasus. Citing new archeographic letters from Zagatala regional museum, the author concludes that the strengthening of Russia's position as, the North-East Caucasus and the South Caucasus are not consistent with the foreign policy objectives of the Ottoman government and its supporting Western European powers.
