摘要
The radioecological monitoring is of great interest in Bulgaria as it is a country with a relatively small territory and high percentage of nuclear power production. The radioecological observation along the Danube river (more precisely around Kozlodoui NPP) started in the late 70's, including number of experimental sites representative for local natural ecosystems. General estimation of the radioactive contamination and its structure was performed during these years. More detailed studies of the content of Cs-134,Cs-137, Sr-90 and some natural radionuclides in the soils from the region of Belene is presented in this paper.
