Solving large-scale traffic network problem by multi-objective genetic clustering algorithm

摘要
In Car Navigation Systems (CNS), digital road map usually contains huge number of nodes and links. The multilayer hierarchical network method is proved as an effective way to solve this large size network problem. In this paper, a multi-objective genetic cluster method that preprocesses the original road network into a multi-layer hierarchical network is proposed. This method uses a genetic clustering algorithm to divide a given network into several small clusters by genetic operator method. An optimal clustering solution set can be got by proposed algorithm Solutions provided by the routing algorithm are compared with the optimal solutions to analyze and quantify the loss of accuracy.
