Methods to Increase the Agglomeration Degree of Industrial Park in Jiangxi Province of China

摘要
The industrial park is an effective carrier of modern industrial enterprises. In recent years, more and more industrial enterprises are migrating from the economic developed coastal regions to the inner mainland. One of major carriers of this strategic migration is industrial park. Jiangxi Province is an underdeveloped economic region. Although the history of establishing industrial park is short, the contribution of these parks to economic development of Jiangxi Province is increasing. In this paper, the agglomeration degree of firms in industrial parks in Jiangxi is analyzed. The results shows that effective agglomeration of industrial enterprises has not yet developed in industrial parks but is developing in the right direction. Based on the results this paper proposes some policy recommendations with an aim to increase the agglomeration degree of industrial enterprise.
