摘要
the amount of electricity a PV system generates depends on the intensity of the sunlight to which it's exposed. Obviously PV panels generate no electricity at night, and less in the morning and evening than in the middle of the day. How much electricity you will get from your PV panels is depended on the conversion efficiency of a PV cell as well as the designing your system. Improving this conversion efficiency is a key goal of research and helps make PV technologies cost-competitive with more traditional sources of energy. Several techniques including nanotechnology are employed to improve the efficiency of PV cell from the level of cell base semiconductor to the cell surface shape-cut and so forth. Although these kinds of approaches are effective but they are costly. In this study, the authors intended to improve the amount of PV power generation by employing a condenser Fresnel lens that is a cost-effective way. In this research, as the first stage, the authors tried to confirm the effectiveness of the method. The obtained results of some experiments show that PV generated power have been improved by setting the condenser lens on top of the PV panel.
