摘要：
In this paper, the author analyzes the data of urban and rural incomes in Liaoning province from 1985 to 2009, the results show that increasing the ratio of the primary industry in GDP can narrow the income gap between urban and rural area, while the development of technology will expand the income gap between urban and rural residents. According to the model analyses, the author put forward several suggestions on increasing investment supports to the primary industry; establishing the rural social security system; narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas so as to promote the harmonious development of the society.
