摘要
Within enterprises manufacturing rolled product important tasks are improvement of manufacturing efficiency and reducing cost. Improving production efficiency and reducing costs are the focal tasks for rolling production plants. Areas for resolving this task are to increase the productivity of rolling mill rolls through development of technology, improvement of alloys used as the rolling roll working layer, and development of new alloys and technology. Assimilation of new materials for sheet rolling became possible with the start of reconstruction at the Kushva rolling roll plant in 2005 that allowed significant changes in the range of roll material production grades. In order to increase the wear resistance of rolls the Kushva plant developed and tested new material grades such as ICDP-GG rolls for hot rolling mill finishing stands. Results show an increase of roll performance by 10-15% compared to ICDP-CE rolls. Roll grade ICDP-GG is included in the list of rolls recommended for use in finishing stands of hot strip mills at NLMK and Severstal', and is currently supplied to Russian and overseas customers.
