摘要
Solar energy is a major renewable energy, source with the potential to meet many of the challenges facing the world, but to extract maximum power output from solar field, optimal design is required where solar panels are going to be installed. The optimization of solar field area is investigated based on the optimal design of field parameters to maximize the power output. The optimal design of solar field is considered by formulating two objective optimization problems-minimization the solar field area and maximization of power output. Multi-objective optimum design of solar field is also considered by analytical calculation. Multi-objective optimization problems derived by using genetic algorithm in MATLAB.
