摘要
This paper 1 studies the impact of the complementary characteristics of solar power and wind power on the reliability of the distribution systems which include hybrid wind-photovoltaic power systems. First, time series method is used to forecast the weather data which the simulation work needs. Then we select proper reliability indexes and simplify the mathematical model of wind farms and solar parks. We simulate the work status and the failure status and other uncertain factors of each unit in system, and a simulation model which is based on Monte Carlo method was built so as to research the reliability of the distribution system which includes hybrid wind-photovoltaic power systems. The responded reliability indices we get from the hybrid system are then afterwards compared with the reliability of the distribution system which includes only wind power plants. The reliability of the distribution system which includes hybrid wind-photovoltaic power system is higher than those distribution systems which only have wind farms connected in. So we can draw a conclusion that the complementary characteristics of solar power and wind power can increase the reliability of the distribution system.
