摘要：
Advanced maintenance concepts and capabilities are keys to affordability and reduced manpower for future, intelligent naval platforms. The Office of Naval Research has recently embarked on a five year program focused on developing advanced enabling technologies for Condition Based Maintenance. This program, called the Accelerated Capabilities Initiative(ACI) for CBM has four main thrusts: Advanced Oil Analysis, Machinery Diagnostics/Prognostics, Corrosion Detection/Prevention, and Human information Management and Advanced Training Technology. A programmatic and technical overview are presented.
