摘要
The fault location with respect to the position of the FACTS devices also greatly influences the trip boundaries of the distance relay. The Thyristor Controlled Series Capacitor is employed at the midpoint of a line. A Global Positioning System clock is used to synchronize sampling of current signals at both the ends of the transmission line. The detail coefficients of current signals of both the ends are utilized to calculate Fault Indices. This paper deals with the application of combined fuzzy and wavelet transforms for the detection, classification and location of faults on Transmission lines with and without TCSC which is almost independent of fault impedance and fault inception angle of transmission line fault currents with FACTS controllers.
