New Algorithm for Re-ranking based on The Vote Operation in The Context of CBIR

摘要：
We propose here a new algorithm which re-ranks the first returned images answered by an image retrieval system. In contrast with other techniques of improvement proposed in the literature, the re-ranking is done automatically without any user intervention. The algorithm has been experimented using the Wang database and the Google image engine. The obtained results indicate that significant improvement in retrieval performance is achieved by the new scheme.
