摘要：
The purpose of this study was to investigate the "whole brain" model in elite Romanian female artistic gymnastics. The subjects who took part in this study were 8 female athletes, former members of the Olympic gymnastics team, and 20 female participants who were not performing systematic physical activities (students within the National University of Physical Education and Sport Bucharest). Using the Mann-Whitney test, there have been highlighted important differences between the samples of subjects, for their cerebral preferences - the lower left quadrant and the left side of the brain (left operating mode).
