Visualization Analysis of International Research Progress in the Field of Traditional Chinese Medicine Informatization

In order to examine the research progress of international TCM informatization in recent years, it also provides directions and ideas for relevant researchers. This study used 1,527 articles from the SCI/SSCI database of Web of Science in the field of TCM informationization as a data source. This study from the perspectives of keywords, publications, knowledge base and branch fields used CiteSpace visualization software and bibliometrics to analyze the progress of international TCM informatization in recent years. The results show that the research territories of TCM informatization was mainly in China, followed by a small number of related researches in the United States, South Korea, etc. The research institutions in the field also mainly in China. The most influential journal in the field was Journal of Ethnopharmacology, the high-yield researcher was Hui Sun and the most influential author was Yi Wang. The most cited document is "Asian medicine: The new face of traditional Chinese medicine". The seven important branch areas included in this field represent the main research branches of the international TCM informatization. Overall, although the research on TCM informatization has achieved certain development in recent years, the research mainstream was mainly limited to China. Therefore, the following work needs to further strengthen the research power of international TCM informatization.
