Results from the regression analysis demonstrated that from six predictor variables out of a 12-variable model, the perceived support from a significant other, avoidance-oriented coping, emotion-oriented coping, and perceived family support can predict 25.4% of the psychological well-being of type 2 diabetic patients, respectively, regarding their predictive power.
