摘要
The optimal allocation of distributed generation (DG) units results in active power loss reduction and voltage profile improvement in distribution systems. Loss sensitivity factor is utilized to identify the optimal candidate locations of DG. To determine the optimal capacity of DG units the analytical expressions are used. A fast computational method is obtained by combining both these methods together. To validate the suitability of the intended method, it has been applied to IEEE 33-bus test distribution system and also employed on a practical distribution feeder.
