Closed-form solution of the orbit equation in the vicinity of near-circular arcs with atmospheric drag models

摘要：
This paper considers the restricted two-body problem with atmospheric drag, and applies to arcs of orbits in which the tangential speed is much greater than the radial speed. The atmospheric drag is approximated by a model that results in closed-form solutions that are more accurate than the closed-form solutions found in previous work.
