摘要
The common media interface device (universal socket modem) is designed around a flexible RS-232/USB architecture to provide analog PSTN cellular, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth socket connectivity with interchangeable socket devices. That is one can utilize this system for all different kinds of communication systems. Design of this system provides flexibility and a path to migrate into the future network. This paper gives an implementation of low cost protocol converter using universal socket modem as a main device. The BF548 is a device which has inbuilt connectors for different protocols. Hence the converter will be of low cost.
