Simultaneous determination of imazalil and thiabendzole in muskmelons by high performance liquid chromatography

摘要
A high performance liquid chromatographic method for the simultaneous determination of imazalil and thiabendazole in muskmelons was investigated. The samples were extracted with ethyl acetate followed by a simple clean-up procedure to separate the analytes from the coextractives. Liquid chromatographic separation was performed on an Inertsil C8-3 column with acetonitrile-water (75:25) as mobile phase. The method is quantified by an external standard mode. The detection limits of the method were 0.70 ng for thiabendazole and 1.53 ng for imazalil, and the relative standard deviation and recoveries were 1.5%similar to4.2% and 87.5% similar to98.0%, respectively. The method has been applied to the quantitative determination of imazalil and thiabendazole in muskmelons with satisfactory results. The method is simple, rapid, and accurate.
