The personalized recommendation algorithms in educational application

The rapid emergence of intelligent interaction technology has sparked a great deal of research interest in the field of contemporary education. Teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and satisfying the individualized development of students have become the core of individualistic education. There are a large number of educational information resources which increase the difficulty of selection for learners and further bring the problem of "information trek". As an effective tool to address those challenges, the research of personalized recommendation system has become a hotspot in the field of educational services. In this paper, we first classify and summarize the recommendation algorithms which are related to the personalized educational recommendation system. Then we conduct a detailed analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of existing algorithms. Finally, some evaluation indicators are outlined to analyze the performance of current personalized recommendation systems thoroughly.
