User interests and behaviors tracking in personalized digital library

摘要：
With the growing availability of information sources like the World Wide Web, it is more and more likely for an ordinary user losing his way in such a sea of information. In this paper, we present a personal interface in digital library for a user to search material. We design a user profile based on the user's interests and behaviors. Moreover, we make use of XML to represent a user's profile for the share between different users. We implement a prototype using proxy technology to demonstrate its performance.
