摘要
Increasing global competition and increasing customer demands motivate every firm to work on products with new technology and advanced features, which shrinks product life and gives less time for product developments. The objective of this research is to examine the idea that in order to build agility in an automotive manufacturer and discuss how to implement the agility by EDI. It is not only necessary to practice agile features in its own manufacturing process and facility, but also to develop agility to the full extent in its supply chain. This can improve the agilities of processes by making the supply chain resources flexible, establishing a pull system in the product development process of the entire supply chain, improving the integration with the manufacturing processes in the suppliers and sub suppliers, and IT enhancement.
