摘要
The preparedness of the population is an essential aspect of coping with the crisis. When dealing with crisis phenomena, higher demands are placed on the individual's ability to solve the difficult situation. Therefore, it is important to prepare the population for coping with such demanding situations (e.g. disasters, accidents) aimed at developing their professional and mental competences. The preparedness of the population can be developed through lifelong learning so that the population is able to respond adequately to the difficult situation. Various forms and methods can be used within the education system. However, it is important to apply interactive learning methods that focus on acquiring experience and practical skills. Such methods of education should be reflected in the national educational system as well as within educational activities at the regional and local level. The paper describes the possibilities of education of the population, with an emphasis on crisis management personnel and identify selected forms and methods of education, such as case studies, interactive methods, model situations, simulations and others.
