摘要
The purpose of this paper is to describe the development of an interactive multi-purpose group support systems facility, referred to as the Electronic Learning Environment (ELE), developed at a regional comprehensive university. The facility contains 36 workstations, an overhead projection system, a visual presenter, videoconferencing equipment, and full multimedia presentation capabilities. Due to limited financial resources, the room had to accommodate and serve many purposes, including group presentations, software training sessions, lecture classes, multimedia presentations (including Cable TV, CD's, and videoconferencing) and group support sessions.
