Stability Analysis of Anchorage Slope based on Limit Equilibrium Theory

Based on limit equilibrium theory this paper studied the stability of the slope implanted pre-stressed anchorage. In accordance with the main construction and work stage of pre-stressed anchorage, the slope stability analysis was divided into two steps. The first step was evaluating the slope stability just after the cables were pre-stressed in the anchorage, then the second was stability analysis about the whole slop when the anchorage bear pull-out loads from external structure by limit equilibrium method. A formula to calculate safety factor of the load-carrying anchorage slope was established finally and an engineering example was given to validate its reliability. In order to improve the engineering's safety, it was recommended that the pre-stressed cables in anchorage should have a sufficient length so that the bond segment can pass through the original potential sliding surface of the slope.
