摘要
Ferrites with compositional formula Li0.49Zn0.02Mn0.06Fe2.43O4 were prepared by solid state reaction route and were sintered using conventional and microwave furnaces. The structural and electrical properties were studied and compared. Dielectric constant and tan delta were measured as a function of temperature and frequency. DC resistivity of the samples was calculated by impedance analysis in the temperature range from 25 degrees C to 150 degrees C. High DC resistivity (10k-100 k Omega m) was observed for microwave sintered ferrite sample as compared to conventionally sintered sample (2-80 Omega m) in the measured temperature range.
