The community of odonata and aquatic heteroptera (Gerromorpha and Nepomorpha) in a rehabilitated wetland: The Laguna de la Nava (Palencia, Spain)

Dragonfly larvae and aquatic heteropteran nymphs and adults of the Laguna de La Nava de Fuentes (Palencia, Spain), a wetland rehabilitated with the intention of recovering a portion of the former Laguna de La Nava, were sampled monthly in a one year period from July 1991 to June 1992. An ecological and phenological study of the 26 identified species (9 Odonata and 17 Heteroptera) and of the whole community has been made. This is followed by a discussion of the degree of maturity reached by the wetland, based on the monitoring values of the autoecology of the collected species.
