摘要
This paper analyzes the impact of physical and financial bilateral contracts on electricity market prices. Bilateral contracts are included in an electricity market simulator which modeled the collusive behavior of firms by means of Game Theory. The market simulator considers hydrothermal generation and the transmission network. The impact of bilateral contracts is analyzed on two types of Electricity Wholesale Market. The first type is based on free prices and the second is based on a centralized dispatch which considers generation audited costs. Simulation results show how different types of bilateral contracts change the collusive strategies of firms and impact on market power.
