摘要：

At the present stage of development and improvement of the judicial system in Russia, the state recognized and enshrined in law the need to develop alternative dispute resolution. For this process to be effective, it should be considered, including the traditional historical and ethnographic aspects of the legal culture of the Don Cossacks, the uniqueness of representations of the Don Cossacks on the settlement of various conflicts that reflect the originality of law and law enforcement and it may well be relevant for the resolution of current conflicts in the areas of compact residence of the descendants of Don Cossacks.
