A Study on the Competency Model for SME Sector Customer Relationship Managers of Chinese Commercial Banks

摘要
In this study, a competency model for SME sector Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs) of Chinese commercial banks was constructed by analyzing specific SME sector characteristics and relevant organizational strategies (upgrade risk management skills, investing in building relationships, targeting the right customers, and cost-effective financing for SMEs). The analysis resulted in a competency model consisting of nine dominant factors.
