摘要
This article has the main goal to show, with a precise analysis of the tragedy Ifigenia (1551), written by famous Venetian poligrafo Lodovico Dolce and substantially modeled on the Erasmian version of Euripides' Ifigenia, how the strategies of the Late Renaissance and of Mannerism work in a particular season of the 16th century characterized by very important transition of the taste and of the aesthetical thought, and by a renewal of the cultural sensibility towards Classical authors, also considered auctoritates, but not in the univocal sense of the imitatio of the Renaissance Classicism. The tragedy of Dolce is very notable, above all, for the characterization of the personae, since they are schizophrenically different from themselves in the dramatic development of the plot (anticipating some of Shakespeare's significant characters), for the realistic and rationalistic final (in which a Servant rejects the versions of Euripides and Erasmus characterized by the miraculous substitution of Ifigenia with a hind), for a tragic discourse that exhibits constantly the divorce between words and things, verba et res.
