摘要
Synthesis of 6-(4-chloro-2-methoxy-5-methylanilino/2-methoxy-5-methylanilino)-9-chloro-5H-benzo[a] phenothiazin-5-thione, 12H-benzo[a] plenothiazin-5-ols, 5-acetoxy-12H-benzo[a] phenothiazines and 5-methoxy-12H-benzo[a]pheno-thiazines have been carried out from 6-(4-chloro-2-methoxy-5-metllylanilino/2-methoxy-5-metltylanilino)-9-chloro-5H-benzo[a] phenothiazin-5-ones: which have been synthesized by condensing zinc mercaptide of 2-amino-5-chloro-benzenethiol and 2-(4-chloro-2-methoxy-5-methylanilino/2-methoxy-5-methylanilino)-3-chloro-1,4-naphthoquinone. The ribofuranosides viz, N-(2',3',5'-tri-O-benzoyl-beta-D-ribofuranosyl)-6-(4-chloro-2-methoxy-5-methylanilino/2-methoxy-5-methylanilino)-9-chloro-5-acetoxy/5-methoxy-12H-benzo[a]phenothiazines have been synthesized by condensing synthesized heterocycles bases with (+)-beta-D-ribofuranose-1-acetate-2,3,5-tribenzoate. Structural assignments have been done on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, and H-1 NMR. All the synthesized compounds have been screened for their antimicrobial activity.
