摘要
Improving engines is achieved through the use of new electronic control systems during the combustion process, additional installation and devices with catalysts for oxidation fuel, etc. In this direction, a large number of organizations work and spend heavily. Our research in the field of processes for tribochemical friction surfaces showed that under certain conditions, these surfaces are covered with a polymer film containing nanoparticles. This film capable of reducing the friction coefficient 10 times [1, 2]. It is essential (in order) falling friction losses, which allows reducing fuel consumption in an internal combustion engine up to 10%. These oils can be called energy saving oils which possess effect of reducing the friction coefficient. The composition of such oils should include coordinating transition metal compounds and esters of organic acids, which are involved in processes tribochemical forming tribopolymer films. We investigated the motor oil SAE 10W40, which includes pentaerythritol ester and oil-soluble coordination compound of molybdenum in concentrate additives "Komol". Tests were conducted by the internal combustion engine fixed as a part of the stand including the single-cylinder gasoline engine, the alternator, the measuring tanks for gasoline, as well as the measuring block and the power meter. Bench tests have shown that the fuel consumption is reduced by 5-8%, the level of CO is reduced by 5-7% and CH - by 13-14%. A similar effect is observed when tested under operating conditions of passenger cars.
