摘要
Titanium dioxide has attracted great interest as photocatalysts for degradation of organic compounds and detoxification of polluted waters and air. Titanium dioxide films have been prepared by the sol-gel dip-coating technique. The thermal transformation of the sol solution was studied with UV-vis. and IR spectroscopy, differential thermal analysis (DTA) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The photocatalytic activity of TiO2 film surfaces, irradiated with a 6W UV black light lamp, was investigated by salicylic acid decomposition.
