摘要
Nano-scale silver films demonstrate the properties of superior activity, remarkable permeability and antimicrobial behavior. The efficiency of bactericidal is hundreds of times larger than that of bulk silver due to the remarkable surface effect, quantum size effect, quantum tunneling effect, and so on. To investigate the effect of nano-silver on food preservation at room temperature, nano-silver coatings with different thicknesses on cling film were prepared by magnetron sputtering at various discharge powers and exposure times. The properties of antibacterial and fresh-keeping were examined. The experimental results show the antibacterial efficiency was increased along with the coating thickness at the beginning, and kept the constant with the exposure period.
