Power System's Damping Analysis Based on RBF Neural Network

摘要
In this paper, to solve the problem that the uncertainty of selecting generator's damping coefficient in power system's transient simulation, RBF neural network is used to calculate damping coefficient in the transient process of generator, which uses power angle and angle acceleration as input variables and electromagnetic torque as output one. It is used the trained RBF network to carry on the analysis of damping torque, and dynamic damping coefficient can be obtained. Finally, it is analyzed by the classical model in SMIB. Simulation results show that this method can effectively calculate generator's damping coefficient. (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier B.V.
