On a Control System Design Using the Partial Model Matching of Time-Delay System

摘要
The partial model matching method is demonstrated as follows. The PID or I-PD controllers are designed so that the closed loop transfer function consistent with the reference model. The reference models are give by the denominator away form, here four types of reference models are used[3]. In order to apply the partial model matching method, it is required the original controlled system is transformed to the denominator array form, this is the main part of the partial model matching method. Although the original system is stable, the denominator array form of the original system sometimes becomes unstable. In this case the partial model matching method cannot be applied. This paper present that the PID controllers for time-delay system given by a fluid temperature and liquid level control system are designed. The denominator array form of the controlled system with time-delay is proposed, that is, Maclaurin expansion and Pade approximation. The proposed method can be obtain the stable closed loop transfer function.
