CHARACTERIZING THE MIGRATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF WEST POMERANIAN VOIVODSHIP

摘要
The paper is aimed at describing labour migration of the inhabitants of West Pomeranian voivodship on the basis of the survey addressed to people currently staying abroad. It presents the results of empirical research obtained by the author as part of the project entitled Foreign labour migration 2010". At first, survey methodology will be described. Subsequently, socio-demographic structure of re-emigrants participating in the survey, selected destination countries, assessment, scale and frequency of migration as well as financial situation encountered by the aforementioned group will be referred to. With respect to conclusion, the profile of re-emigrant leaving West Pomeranian voivodship to seek employment will be presented.
