摘要
A mini hydropower Plant is planned to be constructed on an artificial irrigation canal with a maximum flow rate of 40 m(3)/sec and a water head of 20 m. The canal irrigation schedule lasts for 10 months per year; January and February are usually considered as a period for the maintenance of the hydraulic works. For purpose of comparison, five different-designs of LIPP and 3 alternatives of installed electric power were proposed and considered in order to choose technically and economically optimal solution. To compare and evaluate alternatives, in this study we take into consideration calculation of total electric energy produced in 2 years. Calculation includes also cost of civil works, cost of mechanical and electrical works, costs of operation and maintenance and cost of investment. As result of this study the best alternative to be installed in mini HPS was chosen. (C) 2015 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
