摘要
This paper contributes to the development of an experimental platform to emulate the static and dynamic characteristics of real wind energy conversion system. This system consists of a 2.5 kW DC motor, which drives a synchronous generator. The LabVIEW based real-time interface has been developed to control the prime mover according to the wind turbine principle and follows the torque-speed characteristics of the wind turbine. The response of generated current and terminal voltage has been analyzed under wind varying conditions. The effectiveness of the setup is benchmarked with already proven Wind Turbine test rigs.
