The method of sub-area static decomposition of traffic signal control system

摘要
To divide the road network of whole city into multi control sub-areas and then decide different system objectives of control sub-areas, at last build the road network traffic control model of the whole city is the development direction of the coordination control. The paper begins with the necessity and meaning of the control sub-are static decomposition of traffic signal control system, emphasizes the principal and method of static decomposition, and describes the shape and procession of the sub-area decomposition. At last the paper gives an example of static decomposition area within fourth ring roadway of Beijing, and gives out the chart. Using GIS-T technology, 33 roads are given in the digital map. Following the principles and methods of static decomposition, several sub-areas are automatically divided and the evaluation indexes are listed also.
